Going Live

I have worked in television since 1987 when I was trained as a technical operator. For the first two years of my career I freelanced in local news usually as an editor but also as a cameraman and in commercials and corporate videos usually recording sound on location. I also made a number of local interest short films and promo videos as Director/cameraman/editor during this period.

In 1989 I joined TV-am as a studio cameraman on the daily breakfast show on ITV. Being made redundant in 1992 when TV-am lost their franchise I returned to the world of freelancing.
